CODE OF CONDUCT
The Bridle Paths is committed to offering a fun and safe experience to everyone. As such, we ask our Pathfinders to read and follow this Code of Conduct to ensure our little online corner remains a welcoming place for users and visitors alike!
BE FRIENDLY, KIND AND RESPECTFUL
Users must keep a courteous tone at all times when engaging with the community. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, or racially offensive. Such material will be edited or removed at discretion of the Author; repeated and/or egregious violations of this rule will lead to a permanent ban and, depending on the scale of the offense, the relevant authorities may be alerted.
STAY ON TOPIC
While civil discussions are allowed and encouraged under the above guidelines, we ask all users to avoid cluttering the comment section with unrelated discussions and refrain from advertising or promoting products or services – especially when they are not relevant to the overall theme of this blog. Such content will be edited or removed at discretion of the Author; repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
TAKE CARE
The Bridle Paths urges the community to prioritize their safety and mental health when browsing online. Be careful about sharing private, personal or otherwise confidential information, especially if you are a minor, and don’t be afraid to report damaging content that goes against the Community Guidelines. Harassing another user through any of The Bridle Paths channels will result in a permanent ban and, depending on the scale of the offense, the relevant authorities may be alerted.
ABOVE ALL, RESPECT
As a reminder, we are all humans. Try to assume good faith whenever possible and refrain from saying or doing things online you wouldn’t say or do in person. Should we encounter conflict, the Author will make every effort to resolve the situation privately before publishing any content about the situation; should the perpetrator maintain their inappropriate behavior, we will protect the target of said behavior – if necessary, by alerting the relevant authorities.
PLAY BY THE RULES
On this website, only a single account per person is allowed, with double or fake accounts resulting in a ban. Furthermore, the Author wishes to remind everyone to follow the Terms of Service on all other platforms, and that violations of the above on any content posted on The Bridle Paths official channels will be promptly reported. If you have any questions or need additional support regarding a breach of said terms, don’t hesitate to email the Author.
DON’T FEED THE TROLLS
Avoid engagement with any kind of disruptive, inflammatory or otherwise toxic behavior. Do not respond, do not debate, do not escalate – simply report the incident to the Author providing as much detail as possible, screenshots included.
